EUGENE N. KOVACS
Senior Planner
Mr. Kovacs is the Senior Planner working out of the Big Bend office. He has experience since the mid 1980s in professional urban planning and is responsible for establishing and maintaining the land use planning and zoning interface with the technical elements of project design.
Mr. Kovacs is responsible for interpreting and applying zoning, subdivision and land use regulations to the physical and geographical project layout. He researches the municipal requirements, approvals and permits and tracks applications for the rezoning platting and development of land. He represents clients in meetings and public hearings and assists engineers, architects and developers understand and comply with land use policy and zoning regulations. He has an extensive background in planning in the public sector with experience at the city, county and regional levels.
